Robert B. Ingalls
I help clients plan for the future, protect their families, and preserve their legacies. Each Estate Plan I craft is designed to accomplish the client's unique goals and address potential problems before they exist. Here's a little bit about me and how I got here:
I grew up in Washington, North Carolina, where I spent my formative years on the river or working in my Mother's bookkeeping firm. After graduating from Washington High School, I spent three years honing my education and surfing skills in Wilmington, North Carolina. From there I attended East Carolina University, graduating near the top of my program, and earning a position on the Chancellor's list. Since receiving my Doctor of Law, I have been admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and the United States Federal District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Since developing my virtual practice, I have counseled and prepared estate plans for clients all over North Carolina. Although, I primarily provide estate planning services today, I have represented clients in the areas of Business Litigation, Federal Employment Discrimination, Workers' Compensation, and Criminal Defense. I have also represented employees and employers in hundreds of unemployment benefits compensation hearings throughout North Carolina.
I currently live in Charlotte with my gorgeous and talented wife (I'm totally punching above my weight) and our ever expanding brood of pets. We spend our spare time exploring the hidden gems our state has to offer (we love Black Mountain), visiting vineyards and breweries, hiking, camping, and training to be the next Food Network Stars.
